ACADEMIC

YEAR 2013 - 2017

My academic journey in architecture and interior design has focused on understanding spatial learning and design processes, emphasizing abstraction, diagramming, movement, and circulation. Through various projects and my research thesis, I aim to create environments that are functional, practical, and experiential. I have honed technical skills from sketching initial concepts to creating detailed CAD drawings, 3D models, and presentation drawings. This proficiency in digital and traditional methods allows me to effectively communicate design ideas and visualize spatial relationships, materiality, and lighting, ensuring clarity and success in my proposals.

I have actively engaged in competitions that have further enriched my design skills and perspective. Participating in these competitions has allowed me to explore innovative ideas, push creative boundaries, and collaborate with peers from diverse backgrounds. It has been a valuable platform to apply theoretical concepts into real-world design challenges and develop a deeper understanding of the industry's dynamics.

Moreover, I have had the opportunity to build 1:1 scale furniture models, which has been a hands-on experience in understanding materiality, construction techniques, and ergonomic considerations. Building these models has not only enhanced my technical skills but also provided insights into the practical aspects of design implementation. It has been a rewarding process to see conceptual designs come to life in physical form, bridging the gap between theory and practice in architecture and interior design.
